The Cool Canine Club

Welcome to

Come do cool stuff with your dog!

This isn’t your average group class—it’s weekly, real-world practice for dog owners who want to build confidence handling their dog in any environment.

Whether we’re working on public manners downtown, desensitizing dogs to livestock, or hitting the trails for some structured adventure, the Cool Canine Club is all about building the kind of relationship where your dog wants to follow your lead.

What We Focus On

Every week is a new experience designed to help your dog become resilient, responsive, and ready to handle the world.

We cover:

  • Desensitizing to common triggers like bikes, horses, kids, loud vehicles, unfamiliar dogs and wildlife smells

  • Practicing recall around distractions so that you can trust your dog to choose YOU over the squirrel

  • Learning the foundations for safe adventure: biking, hiking, skiing, paddleboarding — including the equipment, commands, and habits that keep you both safe

  • Neutrality with livestock and trail etiquette for public use areas

  • Tuning into your dog’s state of mind in unpredictable or stimulating environments

  • Reading the room (and your dog) so you know when to push and when to pause

Who is the club for?

This group is especially helpful for:

  • Dogs that need help with sharpening obedience, loose leash walking, reactivity, and recall

  • Owners who want to get into more outdoor adventures with their dogs but don’t know where to start

  • Dogs who are nervous or anxious and need more exposure to build confidence in new environments

  • Owners who want accountability and community

If your dog isn’t ready for a group just yet, reach out. We can help you get there through one of our other training programs.
